My name is Paige and this is my first foray into the world of blogging. I’m a fourth year English Honours student pursuing minors in History and Digital Culture and New Media. As an English major, I have practiced a considerable amount of writing. However, this writing mainly has taken the form of academic essays meant to be read by one person rather than informal blog posts that could feasibly be read by anyone with an internet connection. Hopefully, this blog will be as successful as it will be educational! I’m in this class not only because it fulfills requirements in both of my minors, but also because I think it is important to keep up with the world’s changing technology. Additionally, I am fascinated by how we, as individuals and a society, organize and interpret information.
